Can you cut a key without the original?
Yes, in most cases we can cut to the vehicle's key code without needing an original to copy.
Is a cut key enough to start my car?
Only on older vehicles. Anything with an immobiliser also needs the chip programmed, which we do at the same visit.
My key turns stiffly. Should I replace it?
Probably, and sooner rather than later. A worn key is the most common cause of ignition barrel damage, which costs far more to fix.
How long does key cutting take?
